At this moment, I stand in the Bonn Women's Museum, amidst a patch of weeds, breathing in and out, conveying the unbreakable bond of life between us, while simultaneously confronting the value divide we cannot communicate with.

Performance

Rubble from Melbourne construction site was placed in the exhibition space at Mars Gallery, using a photo of Xin Jian  villages in Beijing at the end of 2017 to symbolize this historical witness of the cleaning away the have-not end of the  population.

Early Works

As a practitioner of Chinese Contemporary art from the 1980s to the present, Xiao Lu uses an intuitive perspective, experiential coordinates, and perceptual awareness to record her sensitive and opinionated observations of the world within the specific context of her life. Her works encompass performance, installation, photography, and painting.
